The PowerPlex 35GY System is the first 8-dye STR multiplex and allows co-amplification and fluorescent detection of the 20 CODIS core loci plus Amelogenin and DYS391 for sex determination. The inclusion of two additional dye channels relative to previous STR multiplex kits provides improved and more informative analyses for even your most challenging DNA samples.
