Bioneer ExiProgen EC1 Protein Synthesis Kit (automated)

Recombinant full-length human CAMK4 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. CAMK4 is a multifunctional serine/threonine protein kinase and a member of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. CAMK4 is localized in neurons in the hippocampus, amygdala, anterior cingulate cortex, somatosensory cortex and insular cortex. CAMK4 is involved in neural activity-dependent signaling in the neuronal nucleus and thought to play an important role in the consolidation/retention of hippocampus-dependent long-term memory. Kinase Enzyme System contains: Kinase: CAMK4, 10ug (Human, recombinant full-length). MW: ~79kDa. Substrate: Autocamtide-2 (KKALRRQETVDAL-amide); derived from the autophosphorylation site (amino acid 283-290) on CaMKII. Other: Reaction Buffer, DTT, Ca2+/Calmodulin solution.
