Recombinant human TIE2 (771-end) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. TIE2 or TEK is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is expressed principally on vascular endothelium. Disrupting TIE2 function in mice results in embryonic lethality with defects in embryonic vasculature, suggests a role in blood vessel maturation and maintenance. Kinase Enzyme System contains: TIE2 Kinase, 10ug (Human, recombinant; amino acids 771-end). MW: ~61kDa. Poly (Glu4, Tyr1) Substrate (1mg/ml). 5X Reaction Buffer, 2.5M MnCl2, 0.1M DTT.
