Recombinant full-length human QIK was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. QIK is a serine/threonine protein kinase that contains an N-terminal kinase domain, a central domain with ubiquitin-associate motif, and a C-terminal PKA phosphorylation site. QIK can phosphorylate IRS1 and overexpression of QIK in adipocyte elevates the phosphorylation of IRS1. Kinase Enzyme System contains: QIK Kinase, 10ug (Human, recombinant, full-length); MW: ~150kDa. AMARA Peptide (1mg/ml), (AMARAASAAALARRR). 5X Reaction Buffer, DTT, 0.1M.
