Recombinant full-length human PKC nu was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using a N-terminal GST tag. PKC nu, also known as PKD3, is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family of serine/threonine kinases that play critical roles in the regulation of cellular differentiation and proliferation in many cell types. PKC nu is composed of 890 amino acid residues and the protein has 77.3% similarity to human PKCmicro and 77. 4% similarity to mouse PKD. Kinase Enzyme System contains: PKC nu Kinase, 10ug (Human, full-length recombinant). MW: ~142kDa. CREBtide substrate (1mg/ml), (KRREILSRRPSYR); derived from human CREB1 isoform A (amino acid 109-121). 5X Reaction Buffer, 0.1M DTT.
