The Maxwell RSC Whole Blood DNA Kit is a simple, automated method for extraction of DNA from 50-500ul of whole blood samples using the Maxwell RSC Instruments. Process 1-16 samples with the Maxwell RSC Instrument, or increase throughput and process 1-48 samples simultaneously with the Maxwell RSC 48 Instrument. The kit contains all the necessary reagents for DNA extraction from whole blood and is used with the Maxwell RSC Instruments in a convenient prefilled cartridge format. Whole blood is added directly to well #1 of the cartridges (no preprocessing necessary), and purified DNA is ready for analysis in less than 60 minutes. Purified DNA can be used directly in a variety of downstream applications such as agarose gel electrophoresis and other amplification-based assays.
