The Blue Phantom II is the very new IBA Dosimetry system for commissioning, testing and regular QA of Linacs and will be replacing the existing Blue Phantom and RFA-300.

It is the only modular 3D water phantom, which can be customized to the required specifications. The water phantom is equipped with high-precision technology, using e.g. the magnetostrictive technology for increased precision and accuracy of the servo position.

For more efficiency, the new hand pendant allows easy and intuitive control of the phantom and the water reservoir. Well known features as e.g. the continuous scanning mode and leveling frame have been maintained.

  • Modular design of the Blue Phantom II for customization of the system to the specific measurement requirements (such as IMRT / IGRT, Stereotactic and Proton Therapy).
  • Common Control Unit (CCU) combines a controller and two independent integrated electrometers, both with independent bias voltage sources. It was developed with new generation of electronics for low noise signals and maximum accuracy.
  • One hand pendant with digital display for easy and intuitive control of the Blue Phantom II and water reservoir increases efficiency.
  • Improved leveling consisting of a 4 point leveling mechanism for easy and fast set-up.
