Recombinant human FIP1L1-PDGFRalpha, the fusion protein [FIP1L1 (1-265)-PDGFRalpha (579-end)], was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. FIP1L1 or factor interacting with PAPOLA and CPSF1 is a subunit of the CPSF (cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor) complex that polyadenylates the 3' end of mRNA precursors. The FIP1L1-PDGFRalpha fusion gene encodes a constitutively activated tyrosine kinase that transforms hematopoietic cells and is inhibited by imatinib in which fusion of the PDGFRalpha and FIP1L1 genes as a therapeutic target of imatinib in idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome. Kinase Enzyme System contains: FIP1L1-PDGFR? Kinase, 10ug [Human, recombinant fusion; FIP1L1 (1-265)-PDGFR? (579-end)]. MW: ~130kDa. Poly (Glu4, Tyr1) Peptide Substrate (1mg/ml). 5X Reaction Buffer, 2.5 MnCl2 0.1M DTT.
