Recombinant full-length human MEK1 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. MEK1 is a member of the dual specificity protein kinase family that acts as a mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) kinase. MEK1 lies upstream of MAPK/ERK and stimulates the enzymatic activity of MAPK/ERK upon a wide variety of extra- and intracellular signals. Kinase Enzyme System contains: MEK1 Kinase, 10ug (Human, recombinant full-length). MW: ~72kDa. CHKtide Substrate, 1mg/ml (KKKVSRSGLYRSPSMPENLNRPR); derived from human CDC25C protein isoform A (amino acid 205-225). 5X Reaction Buffer, 0.1M DTT.
