Recombinant full-length mouse BRSK1 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. BRSK1 is serine/threonine kinases 1 which required for presynaptic differentiation in Caenorhabditis elegans that are needed for neuronal polarization. BRSK1 is highly expressed in all specific adult brain regions followed by fetal brain and adult spinal cord. It is also expressed in adult heart, pancreas, testis, ovary, lung, and kidney, and in fetal liver. Kinase Enzyme System contains: BRSK1 Kinase, 10microg (Mouse, full-length recombinant). MW: ~118kDa. CHKtide Substrate (1mg/ml), (KKKVSRSGLYRSPSMPENLNRPR); derived from human CDC25C protein isoform A (amino acid 205-225). 5X Reaction Buffer, 0.1M DTT.
