This extraordinarily easy to use and flexible software, allows the operator to control and monitor all aspects of the system from a single front end, ensuring fast, reliable and powerful testing and data analysis for tensile, compression, peeling, tearing, creep, relaxation and  flexural test applications.

 

With NEXYGENPlus software, the user can simply select from the extensive library of pre-defined test set-ups based on international standards to set up routine tests or create an advanced multi-stage test, all using the same program. Still picture and video capture are also included in the software as well as a powerful security and audit trail module to provide 100% traceability, full automation capability for automatic testing and much more.

The TA1 texture analyser is an easy to use, cost effective solution to evaluate the textural properties (compression, shear, extrusion, puncture, hardness forces etc) of a wide range of products at all stages of manufacture. It can perform rapid, detailed texture profile analysis (TPA) for applications up to 102 kgf (1 kN, 225 lbf).

For enhanced performance, the TA1 can be used with Lloyd Instruments NEXYGENPlus data analysis software.

The Davenport Melt Flow Indexer is used to determine the melt flow properties of a polymer by extruding it in a molten state, through a calibrated die using a reference weight. It is used extensively in production and quality control to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and is renowned for accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility of results.  Two models are available, the manual MFI-9 and the automatic MFI-10.

The Davenport PETPlus is a unique test instrument designed for fast and safe solvent-free intrinsic viscosity (IV) measurement of moisture-sensitive polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The instrument can be operated in stand alone mode to provide on screen results or used with our powerful data analysis software package NEXYGENPlus PET.  Existing solvent methods for determining IV involve the need to handle and dispose of toxic solvents.  This preferred method is both kinder to the environment and saves on the high costs of purchase and disposal of solvents.

Davenport density measuring columns are designed to measure the density of solid materials, notably plastics, according to BS2782 Part 6 Method 620D, ASTM D1505-68, ISO 1183 and others. It is also a quick comparative test, ideal for discerning density differences between similar materials.

For use in the packaging and printing industries, the Lloyd Instruments FTPlus coefficient of friction tester accurately measures static and kinetic coefficient of friction.  These values are of importance in a wide range of industries including blown film, plastic sheet, paper and coating manufacture. 

The FTPlus is a dedicated friction tester conforming to the requirements of ASTM D1894, ISO 8295 and TAPPI T549.  The tester includes these standards as user configurable tests, with a further seven available for user custom configuration. 

When using NEXYGENPlus material test and data analysis software, the FTPlus may also be configured as a universal material tester to perform tensile, compression, flexural and other mechanical tests up to 1 kN (225lbf).
